Flexible Fuel Sensor: Description and Operation

DESCRIPTION
The Flexible Fuel Sensor measures the percentage of fuel methanol or fuel ethanol in the fuel mixture.

OPERATION
The Sensor sends a variable signal to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) through the wiring harness. The PCM adjusts outputs to the engine to provide optimum driveablity based on the signal received.
