D1 - D5
D1 Check Fuel Gauge Reading
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect fuel pump module electrical connector C436.
- Connect one lead of Instrument Gauge System Tester 014-Ri 063 or equivalent to Pin C436-8, Circuit 29 (Y/N), and the other lead to a known good ground.
- Set tester to 11 ohms.
- Turn ignition switch ON. Wait 60 seconds, read fuel gauge, then turn ignition switch OFF.
- The fuel gauge should read E (Empty).
- Turn ignition switch ON. Wait 60 seconds, read fuel gauge, then turn ignition switch OFF.
- The fuel gauge should read F (Full).
