Cellular Phone: Description and Operation






The mobile phone system consists of these major components:
^ Headliner mounted mobile telephone microphone with remote multi-function button
^ Mobile telephone power cable with multi-function control antenna cable
^ Glass mounted mobile telephone antenna
^ Mobile telephone transceiver
^ Mobile telephone handset

Some features of the mobile phone system include:
^ Voice activation.
^ Hands-free operation.
^ Speed dialing of up to 30 numbers.
^ Audio program muting during mobile phone operation.







Controls

Dual Phone Numbers
The mobile telephone is equipped with a feature that allows the customer to maintain two different telephone numbers.
^ Both numbers can be from separate carriers and are accessed separately in the telephone.
^ The phone must be programmed by the dealer with both phone numbers.
^ To arrange for dual phone numbers, contact the dealer or call the Ford Cellular System at 1-800-367-3013.

The phone can only be active in one phone number at a time.
^ Calls will be placed and received on the active phone number only.
^ To determine which phone number is active, press RCL + #> to display the number.

To operate with the phone number in the display, press END.
^ To switch the telephone to the other phone number, press RCL + #> + RCL.
^ The original telephone number will disappear from the display and the new number will appear.
