Inertia Fuel Shutoff Switch: Service and Repair

Inertia Fuel Shutoff Switch, Sedan:

Removal
1. Open luggage compartment door.

2. Remove RH plastic cargo tether hook by unscrewing from body.

3. Pull back luggage compartment trim on right side at rear lamp to reveal inertia fuel shutoff switch.

4. Disconnect wiring harness connector from inertia fuel shutoff switch.

5. Remove two screws retaining inertia fuel shutoff switch to inner fender and remove inertia fuel shutoff switch.

Installation

1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.

2. Tighten screws to: 1.6-2.2 Nm (15-19 Lb.in).
