EVAP System Leak Test

PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect and plug evaporative emission return tube leading to the upper intake manifold at the upper intake manifold vacuum fitting.
2. Plug evaporative emission tube at the Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) canister.
3. Using Rotunda Fuel Tank Leak Tester 134-R0003 or equivalent, pressurize the fuel system through the test fuel tank filler cap.
4. Verify that the pressure within the system does not decay.
5. If pressure does decay, determine the cause of the leak and then service.
6. Remove plugs and reconnect evaporative emission return tube to the upper intake manifold and the evaporative emission tube to the evaporative emissions canister.
