Left Side

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Raise and support vehicle.
3. Remove dual converter Y-pipe and lower exhaust manifold retaining nuts.
4. Lower vehicle, then remove secondary air injection manifold tube and heat shield from manifold.
5. Remove oil dipstick tube retaining bolt.
6. Remove upper manifold retaining nuts.
7. Remove manifold and gasket.
8. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten exhaust manifold stud bolts to 11-19 ft lb, and exhaust manifold shield bolts to 12-16 ft lb.
