This TSB is being republished to remove the step instructing the technician to bend the "Blow Out Clip". This article also provides details for installing a revised glass run blow out clip moulding.


ISSUE: Windnoise or water leaks at the front door glass area may be caused by one or more of the following items:

^ Door glass that is improperly adjusted.

^ Door glass "blow out clip" that is bent or out of position.

^ Door glass that does not apply enough pressure on the weatherstrip at the side view mirror area.

^ Poor sealing of the door glass to the body weatherstrips (Refer to TSB 90-7-5)

ACTION: Inspect the "blow out" clip for proper position and, if necessary install a new glass run/blow out clip moulding assembly. Refer to the following procedure for service details.
