Weather Seal Retainer Modification

1. Remove the weather seal from the roof retainer.

2. Remove the roof retainer from the car.

3. Starting at the front of the roof retainer, enlarge the first three (3) attaching screw holes from 5 mm to 7 mm.

4. Re-position the roof retainer. Use flat washers on the enlarged holes.

5. Before tightening the roof retainer attaching screws, pull the roof retainer outward and then secure the attaching screws.

6. Re-install the weather seal to the roof retainer.

7. If windnoise or water leak concerns are still present, proceed to the door opening body weatherstrip inspection.
