Speedometer Gear And Speed Sensor:





Fluid level checking is accomplished by using the speedometer driven gear or speed sensor as a dipstick.

1. If equipped with an analog speedometer, disconnect the speedometer cable from the gear, and remove it from the transaxle. If equipped with a digital cluster, remove the speed sensor.
2. Wipe all traces of fluid from the gear and reinsert it in to the transaxle.
3. If the oil is below the full mark, add as necessary.
