Thermostat: Service and Repair

1. Drain cooling system.
2. Loosen upper radiator hose clamp, then disconnect hose from thermostat housing.
3. Remove attaching nut securing harness bracket.
4. Remove upper radiator radiator hose.
5. Remove attaching nuts, thermostat housing, thermostat and gasket. Do not pry housing off.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
