Leakage or Wind Noise At the Door Glass/Mirror Areas
WATER LEAKAGE OR WIND NOISE AT THE SIDE DOOR GLASS/MIRROR AREAS
Water leaks or wind noise in the door (front or rear) glass area could be caused by any of the following:
^ Refer to TSB 90-7-5 for revised body door opening weatherstrips that increase sealing at the lower trailing edge of the door glass. See Figure 19 in this TSB article.

^ Refer to TSB 90-22-2 for a revised "blow out clip" and channel, and revised door glass adjustment procedures. The revised blow out clip is stronger and will not bend. This TSB contains Figure 19 for a picture of the revisions and Figures 20 and 21 for door glass adjustments.
^ Door glass that is improperly adjusted.
^ Door glass that does not apply enough pressure on the weatherstrip at the side view mirror area.
NOTE: THE INSTALLATION OF THE NEW BLOW OUT CLIP AND CHANNEL ASSEMBLY REQUIRES A VERY PRECISE ADJUSTMENT OF THE DOOR GLASS.
