ISSUE: Air conditioning/heater climate control push button appliques that come loose and fall off may be caused by the type of adhesive used to hold the applique to the climate control push button.
ACTION: Install new climate control push button appliques that are held in place with an improved adhesive. Refer to the following procedure, for service details.

NOTE: DO NOT REMOVE THE CLIMATE CONTROL PUSH BUTTON ASSEMBLY FROM THE VEHICLE, FIGURE 1 AND 2.
1. Clean the push button face where the applique attaches with alcohol.
CAUTION: DO NOT USE SAND PAPER ON THE PUSH BUTTONS.
2. Make sure the surface of the push button is completely dry.
CAUTION: DO NOT APPLY GLUE ON THE APPLIQUES OR PUSH BUTTONS.
3. Remove the backing material from the applique and firmly press the applique onto the push button. Refor to Figure 1 and 2 for the proper location of replacement appliques.
4. Repeat Steps 1 through 3 for any other affected push button appliques.
