ISSUE
Some 2013 Escape vehicles with a build date on or before 8/27/2012, equipped with Information and Entertainment System with Monochromatic Display excluding 4.2 in. screen and MyFord Touch may exhibit a concern where the customer stores a new radio station to a preset, but the radio station name is not updated (the new station is heard, but the old station name remains on the display)..

ACTION
Follow the Service Procedure to correct the condition.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. This procedure excludes vehicles equipped with the Information and Entertainment System with a 4.2 in. screen and MyFord Touch. All others proceed to Step 2.

2. Reprogram the Front Control Display Interface Module (FCDIM) to the latest calibration using IDS release 80.02 or higher. This new calibration is not included in the VCM 2012.7 DVD. Calibration files may also be obtained at the website.

WARRANTY STATUS: Eligible Under Provisions Of New Vehicle Limited Warranty Coverage Warranty/ESP coverage limits/policies/prior approvals are not altered by a TSB. Warranty/ESP coverage limits are determined by the identified causal part and verified using the OASIS part coverage tool.
