Body

The body consists of the following:
- Unibody design
- Steel hood constructed of dent resistant steel
- Roof panel and reinforcements constructed of mild steel
- Bolt-on fenders constructed of dent resistant steel
- High-strength bolt-on front and rear bumper beams
- High-Strength Low Alloy (HSLA), high-strength and mild steels
- Body side outer panel constructed of mild steel
- Body side outer panel to be available as 2-piece service replacement
- Hinged doors incorporating dent resistant Bake Hardened Steel (BH) steel outer panels
- Liftgate outer panel constructed of mild steel
- Front and rear subframe assemblies housing suspension and steering components
- Underbody floor panels constructed of mild steel
- Underbody front floor side member(s) constructed of high-strength steel
- Underbody rear floor side member(s) constructed of high-strength steel
- Sound deadener material used in door panels, roof and floor pan
