Driver Seat Module (DSM)

Removal

NOTE: Prior to the replacement of the module, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to the appropriate scan tool. This information must be downloaded into the new module after installation.

1. NOTE: This step is necessary only if the DSM (Driver Seat Module) is being replaced.
PMI (Programmable Module Installation) is required when installing a new DSM (Driver Seat Module). Refer to the scan tool instructions to carry out PMI (Programmable Module Installation).

2. Position the front driver seat all the way back and up to access the DSM (Driver Seat Module).

3. Remove the 2 screws.

4. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the DSM (Driver Seat Module).

Installation

1. Connect the DSM (Driver Seat Module) electrical connectors.

2. Position the DSM (Driver Seat Module) and install the 2 screws.

3. NOTE: This step is necessary only if the DSM (Driver Seat Module) is being replaced.
PMI (Programmable Module Installation) is required when installing a new DSM (Driver Seat Module). Refer to the scan tool instructions to carry out PMI (Programmable Module Installation).
