Diagnostic Overview
The All Terrain Display Is Never or Always Displayed
Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
REFER to Terrain Management Indicator .
If the terrain management message is missing for less than 5 seconds, the all terrain display remains in the last indication state base upon the last message received. If the terrain management message is missing for 5 seconds or longer, the IPC (Instrument Panel Cluster) defaults the all terrain displays to inactive or off.
Pinpoint Test
1. RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) FROM THE IPC (Instrument Panel Cluster) SELF-TEST
1. Using a scan tool, perform the IPC (Instrument Panel Cluster) self-test.
Are any DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) recorded?
2. RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) FROM THE ATCM (All Terrain Control Module) SELF-TEST
1. Using a scan tool, perform the ATCM (All Terrain Control Module) self-test.
Are any DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) recorded?
3. CHECK THE DISPLAY MODE MENU
1. On the optional IPC (Instrument Panel Cluster), in the display mode menu, press the LH (Left Hand) steering wheel switch to the right to display the AWD (All-Wheel Drive) gauge.
2. On the base IPC (Instrument Panel Cluster), in the Information display mode, press the LH (Left Hand) steering wheel switch to the right then down to display the AWD (All-Wheel Drive) gauge.
Does the all terrain indicator display next to the AWD (All-Wheel Drive) gauge?
