Removal

1. WARNING: Turn the ignition OFF and wait one minute to deplete the backup power supply. Ignition must remain OFF until repair is complete. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury or death in the event of an accidental deployment.

If installing a new component for a SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) fault, continue to step 2. Otherwise, if equipped with deployable belts, turn the ignition off, wait at least one minute and continue to step 3.

2. NOTE: The air bag warning indicator illuminates when the correct RCM (Restraints Control Module) fuse is removed and the ignition is on.
Depower the SRS (Supplemental Restraint System). REFER to Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Depowering and Repowering - with Intelligent Access (IA) or REFER to Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Depowering and Repowering - without Intelligent Access (IA) .



3. NOTE: Returning the seat from the E-Z entry position to the load floor position will latch the inboard latch foot.
The inboard latch foot must latch before the seat backrest will return to the upright position.
Returning the seat backrest to the upright position will latch the outboard latch foot.

Using the recliner handle, fold the affected seat up to the E-Z entry position.



4. If equipped, disconnect the seat electrical connector(s).

5. Remove the 2 seat-to-floor bolts and 2 seat-to-floor nuts for the affected seat.

6. Remove the seat.

Installation

1. For the RH (Right Hand) 40 percent seat, position the seat in the vehicle and install the retainers.

1. Install the seat-to-floor rear inboard nut.
- Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).

2. Install the seat-to-floor rear outboard nut.
- Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).

3. Install the seat-to-floor front outboard bolt.
- Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).

4. Install the seat-to-floor front inboard bolt.
- Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).






2. For the 60 percent seat or LH (Left Hand) 40 percent seat, position the seat in the vehicle and install the retainers.

1. Install the seat-to-floor rear inboard nut.
- Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).

2. Install the seat-to-floor rear outboard nut.
- Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).

3. Install the seat-to-floor front outboard bolt.
- Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).

4. Install the seat-to-floor front inboard bolt.
- Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).






3. Connect the electrical connector(s).

4. If the SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) was depowered, repower the SRS (Supplemental Restraint System). REFER to Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Depowering and Repowering - with Intelligent Access (IA) or REFER to Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Depowering and Repowering - without Intelligent Access (IA) .
