Seat Backrest Cover - Manual

Removal

NOTE: For component identification and locations, REFER to Seat - Exploded View .

NOTE: To remove the RH (Right Hand) third row seat backrest trim cover, the LH (Left Hand) seat outboard pivot cover must be removed before the RH (Right Hand) seat outboard pivot cover can be removed.

1. Pry to release the clips and remove the LH (Left Hand) seat outboard pivot cover.

2. If removing RH (Right Hand) backrest cover, pry to release the clips and remove the RH (Right Hand) seat outboard pivot cover.

3. Release the backrest cover upper J-clip under the head restraint.

4. Release the backrest trim cover lower J-strip, open the trim cover and release the inner J-clips.

5. Remove the pivot bolt.

6. Invert the backrest trim cover and remove 3 rows of 3 hog rings.

7. Remove the backrest trim cover.

- Pull the strap through the trim cover.

Installation

1. Install the backrest trim cover.

- Route the strap through the trim cover.

2. Install 3 rows of 3 hog rings.



3. Install the pivot bolt.

- Tighten to 54 Nm (40 lb-ft).

4. Secure the backrest cover inner J-clips, close the trim cover and secure the lower J-strip.

5. Secure the backrest cover upper J-clip under the head restraint.

6. If removed install the RH (Right Hand) seat outboard pivot cover.

7. Install the LH (Left Hand) seat outboard pivot cover.
