Seat Backrest Cover - 40 Percent

Removal

NOTE: For parts identification and location, REFER to Seat - Exploded View .

1. Push the buttons in on the head restraint guide sleeves and remove the head restraint.

2. Remove the 2 head restraint guides sleeves. REFER to Head Restraint Guide Sleeve .

3. With the backrest folded down, release the backrest cover lower J-clips and the 2 J-clips attached to the hardback panel.





4. Remove the 2 pin-type retainers from the hard back panel.





5. NOTICE: Use care when separating the backrest cover from the hook-and-loop strip, or the hook-and-loop strip may be torn from the backrest foam pad.

Separate the hook-and-loop strips, invert the backrest cover and remove the hog rings.

6. Separate the remaining hook-and-loop strips and remove the backrest cover.

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
