Diagnostic Overview
The Roof Opening Panel Leaks
Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
When the roof opening panel glass is completely closed, it should be aligned within specifications. REFER to Roof Opening Panel Alignment - Front and REFER to Roof Opening Panel Alignment - Rear .
Pinpoint Test
1. CHECK THE ROOF OPENING PANEL SEALS
1. NOTE: The roof opening panel glass seals for the front sliding panel and rear fixed panel are not serviceable separately.
Check the front sliding glass panel seal and rear fixed glass panel seal to make sure they are secured to the glass, not cut, cracked, pinched, loose or obstructed.
2. Check the alignment of the front sliding glass panel and the rear fixed glass panel.
Are the roof opening panel glass seals and alignment OK?
2. CHECK THE ROOF OPENING PANEL DRAIN HOSES AND ATTACHMENT POINTS
1. Check the 4 roof opening panel drain hoses attachment points for damage or obstructions.
2. Make sure the roof opening panel drain hoses are correctly attached to the attachment points.
3. Make sure the roof opening panel drain hoses are not routed incorrectly, cracked, slit, pinched or obstructed.
4. Check the 4 roof opening panel drain hoses for correct operation.
Are the roof opening panel drain hoses and attachment points OK?
3. CHECK THE ROOF OPENING PANEL DRAIN TROUGH CONDITION
1. Check the roof opening panel drain trough for damage and make sure it is correctly attached.
Is the roof opening panel trough OK?
4. CHECK THE CONDITION OF THE ROOF OPENING GLASS PANELS
1. Check the roof opening panel frame for damage that may cause the front sliding glass panel seal or rear fixed glass panel to seat incorrectly.
