Roof Opening Panel Blind

Removal

NOTE: The roof opening panel motor(s) must be initialized when repairs are carried out on any part of the roof opening panel system, including whenever:
- the roof opening sliding glass or power shade motor has been removed from the roof opening panel system.
- the roof opening panel glass has been removed from the roof opening panel system.
- the roof opening panel assembly has been removed from the vehicle.
- a new roof opening sliding glass or power shade motor has been installed.
- a new roof opening panel glass has been installed.
- a new roof opening panel assembly has been installed.

REFER to Roof Opening Panel Motor Initialization - Sliding Glass Panel Roof Opening Panel Motor Initialization - Sliding Glass Panel and REFER to Roof Opening Panel Motor Initialization - Shade Roof Opening Panel Motor Initialization - Shade.

1. Remove the front sliding glass panel. REFER to Roof Opening Panel Glass - Front Sliding .



2. NOTE: Note the orientation of the concertina blind to make sure it is installed correctly. An incorrectly installed concertina blind will not clip to the front sliding glass panel.
While pushing the air deflector down, carefully slide the concertina blind forward until each of the 3 guide feet can be released from the track.





Installation

NOTE: The roof opening panel motor(s) must be initialized when repairs are carried out on any part of the roof opening panel system, including whenever:
- the roof opening sliding glass or power shade motor has been removed from the roof opening panel system.
- the roof opening panel glass has been removed from the roof opening panel system.
- the roof opening panel assembly has been removed from the vehicle.
- a new roof opening sliding glass or power shade motor has been installed.
- a new roof opening panel glass has been installed.
- a new roof opening panel assembly has been installed.

REFER to Roof Opening Panel Motor Initialization - Sliding Glass Panel Roof Opening Panel Motor Initialization - Sliding Glass Panel and REFER to Roof Opening Panel Motor Initialization - Shade Roof Opening Panel Motor Initialization - Shade.

1. NOTE: Note the orientation of the concertina blind to make sure it is installed correctly. An incorrectly installed concertina blind will not clip to the front sliding glass panel.
While pushing down on the air deflector, carefully slide the concertina blind backward until each of the 3 guide feet are connected to the track.






2. Install the front sliding glass panel. REFER to Roof Opening Panel Glass - Front Sliding .

3. Check for correct alignment of the front sliding glass panel. REFER to Roof Opening Panel Alignment - Front .

4. Initialize the front sliding glass panel motor and the power shade motor. REFER to Roof Opening Panel Motor Initialization - Sliding Glass Panel Roof Opening Panel Motor Initialization - Sliding Glass Panel and REFER to Roof Opening Panel Motor Initialization - Shade Roof Opening Panel Motor Initialization - Shade.
