Seat Temperature Control Module: Service and Repair

Dual Climate Controlled Seat Module (DCSM)

Removal

NOTE: For component identification and locations, REFER to Seat - Exploded View, Front .

1. NOTE: This step is necessary only if the DCSM (Dual Climate Controlled Seat Module) is being replaced.
PMI (Programmable Module Installation) is required when installing a new DCSM (Dual Climate Controlled Seat Module). Refer to the scan tool instructions to carry out PMI (Programmable Module Installation).

2. Position the front passenger seat all the way back and up to access the DCSM (Dual Climate Controlled Seat Module).

3. Remove the DCSM (Dual Climate Controlled Seat Module) in the following sequence.

- Remove the screws.
- Release the locking wedges on the 2 DCSM (Dual Climate Controlled Seat Module) electrical connectors.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Remove the DCSM (Dual Climate Controlled Seat Module).






Installation

1. Install the DCSM (Dual Climate Controlled Seat Module) in the following sequence.

- Connect the electrical connectors.
- Secure the locking wedges on the 2 DCSM (Dual Climate Controlled Seat Module) electrical connectors.
- Position the DCSM (Dual Climate Controlled Seat Module) and install the screws.

2. NOTE: This step is necessary only if the DCSM (Dual Climate Controlled Seat Module) is being replaced.
PMI (Programmable Module Installation) is required when installing a new DCSM (Dual Climate Controlled Seat Module). Refer to the scan tool instructions to carry out PMI (Programmable Module Installation).
