C-Pillar Trim Panel - With Inflatable Safety Belts

WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure, REFER to Safety Warnings . Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

Removal

1. Remove the quarter trim panel. REFER to Quarter Trim Panel - With Inflatable Safety Belts .



2. Slide the lower safety belt tongue cover down to disengage from the retainers and remove.





3. Pry out at the outer edges, slide back and remove the upper safety belt tongue cover.





4. Position aside the rear door weatherstrip.

5. Remove the C-pillar trim panel bolt.

6. Pull the second row outer inflatable safety belt through the C-pillar trim and remove the trim panel.

Installation

1. Feed the second row outboard inflatable safety belt through the C-pillar trim panel and install the trim panel on the body.

2. Install the C-pillar trim bolt.
- Tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

3. Install the second row outboard safety belt anchor bolt.
- Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

4. Position back the rear door weatherstrip.

5. Pry out on the outer edges and slide the upper safety belt tongue cover back on and engage the outer edges of the cover.





6. Engage the lower safety belt tongue cover to the safety belt tongue retainers.





7. Install the quarter trim panel. REFER to Quarter Trim Panel - With Inflatable Safety Belts .
