Liftgate/Trunk Module (LTM)

Removal

1. Remove the LH (Left Hand) rear door tread plate.

2. Remove the liftgate opening weather strip.

3. Remove the liftgate opening tread plate.

4. Remove the 2 LH (Left Hand) cargo net anchors and position aside the LH (Left Hand) quarter trim panel.





5. Disconnect the LTM (Liftgate/Trunk Module) electrical connectors and remove the pin-type retainer.





6. Release the upper and lower retaining clips and remove the LTM (Liftgate/Trunk Module).

Installation

1. Install the LTM (Liftgate/Trunk Module) in the vehicle and secure the upper and lower retaining clips.

2. Connect the LTM (Liftgate/Trunk Module) electrical connectors and install the pin-type retainer.





3. Install the LH (Left Hand) quarter trim panel and the 2 cargo net anchors.





4. Install the liftgate opening tread plate.

5. Install the liftgate opening weatherstrip.

6. Install the LH (Left Hand) rear door tread plate.

7. Initialize the LTM (Liftgate/Trunk Module). REFER to General Procedure .
