Front Bumper Cover / Fascia: Service and Repair




Bumper Cover - Front

Removal

1. Remove the front fender mouldings. REFER to Fender Moulding - Front .

2. NOTE: LH (Left Hand) side shown, RH (Right Hand) side similar.
Remove the fender-to-bumper cover screws.





3. NOTE: LH (Left Hand) side shown, RH (Right Hand) side similar.
Disconnect the fog lamp electrical connectors.





4. If equipped, disconnect the 2 active park assist electrical connectors.

5. Remove the 3 lower bumper cover-to-radiator splash shield bolts.





6. Remove the 7 bolts and 2 pin-type retainers from the upper radiator site shield.





7. NOTE: LH (Left Hand) side shown, RH (Right Hand) side similar.
Release the 4 locking tabs on each side of the bumper cover and remove the bumper cover and grille assembly.





Installation

1. Position the bumper cover and grille assembly to the vehicle.

2. NOTE: LH (Left Hand) side shown, RH (Right Hand) side similar.
Engage the 4 locking tabs on each side of the bumper cover.





3. Install the upper radiator sight shield.

1. Install the 2 pin-type retainers.

2. Install the 7 bolts.
- Tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).






4. Install the 3 lower bumper cover-to-radiator splash shield bolts.
- Tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).





5. If equipped, connect the 2 active park assist electrical connectors.

6. NOTE: LH (Left Hand) side shown, RH (Right Hand) side similar.
Connect the fog lamps electrical connectors.





7. NOTE: LH (Left Hand) side shown, RH (Right Hand) side similar.
Install the fender-to-bumper cover screws.
- Tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).





8. Install the front fender mouldings. REFER to Fender Moulding - Front .
