Removal

1. Position aside the liftgate weatherstrip.

2. NOTICE: To avoid damage to the liftgate scuff plate trim panel, remove any retaining clips from the body and attach them to the liftgate scuff plate trim panel before installing.

Remove the liftgate scuff plate trim panel.

- Pull upward to release the retaining clips.






3. NOTICE: To avoid damage to the scuff plate trim panel, remove any retaining clips from the body and attach them to the scuff plate trim panel before installing.

Remove the rear RH (Right Hand) door scuff plate trim panel.

- Pull upward on the scuff plate trim panel to release the retaining clips.






4. Remove the RH (Right Hand) quarter trim panel retaining push pin.





5. Position the RH (Right Hand) second row seat in the flat position and then tilt the second row seat forward.

6. Position the RH (Right Hand) third row seat in the flat position.

7. Remove the RH (Right Hand) cargo retaining hooks.





8. NOTICE: To avoid damage to the quarter trim panel, remove any retaining clips from the body and attach them to the quarter trim panel before installing.

Position the RH (Right Hand) quarter trim panel aside.

- Pull the RH (Right Hand) quarter trim panel toward the inside of the vehicle to release the retaining clips.






9. Remove the 3 bracket screws and the audio amplifier.

- Disconnect the electrical connectors.

- To install, tighten to 13 Nm (115 lb-in).






Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
