Global Positioning System Module (GPSM)

Removal

1. NOTE: If installing a new module, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to the scan tool prior to removing the module. This information must be downloaded into the new module after installation.
Upload the GPSM (Global Positioning System Module) configuration information to the scan tool by following the scan tool on screen instructions.

2. Remove the IPC (Instrument Panel Cluster). REFER to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC).

3. Release the 2 clips and remove the GPSM (Global Positioning System Module).

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

2. Download the GPSM (Global Positioning System Module) configuration information from the scan tool to the new GPSM (Global Positioning System Module) following the scan tool on screen instructions.
