Universal Transmitter Is Inoperative

REFER to Universal Home Transmitter .
Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-checks
- Inspect BCM (Body Control Module) Fuse 4 (10A).
Pinpoint Test
1. CHECK FOR VOLTAGE TO THE UNIVERSAL TRANSMITTER
1. Check the illumination of the universal transmitter by pressing one of the buttons.
Does the red indicator on the universal transmitter illuminate?
2. PROGRAM A HAND-HELD TRANSMITTER TO THE UNIVERSAL TRANSMITTER
1. NOTE: The customer's hand-held transmitter is required when programming the universal transmitter.
Program the universal transmitter. Refer to the Owner's Literature.
Does the universal transmitter program successfully?
3. CHECK THE OPERATION OF THE LH (Left Hand) VANITY MIRROR LAMP
1. Verify the operation of the LH (Left Hand) vanity mirror lamp. REFER to Demand Lamps .
Does the LH (Left Hand) vanity mirror lamp operate correctly?
