Turbine Shaft Speed (TSS) Sensor

WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure, REFER to Safety Warnings . Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

Removal

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. REFER to Lifting Points .

2. Remove the 2 retainers and position aside the LH (Left Hand) fender splash shield aside to access the TSS (Turbine Shaft Speed) sensor.





3. Disconnect the TSS (Turbine Shaft Speed) sensor electrical connector.





4. Remove the TSS (Turbine Shaft Speed) sensor bolt and the TSS (Turbine Shaft Speed) sensor.





Installation

1. Install the TSS (Turbine Shaft Speed) sensor and install the TSS (Turbine Shaft Speed) sensor bolt.
- Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).





2. Connect the TSS (Turbine Shaft Speed) sensor electrical connector.





3. Install the 2 splash shield retainers.
