K: C1288 and C1440 (ABS With Stability Assist) Brake Pressure Transducer Input Circuit Failure
Pinpoint Test K: DTC C1288 and C1440 (ABS with Stability Assist) Brake Pressure Transducer Input Circuit FailureNormal Operation
The primary brake pressure transducer sends current to the anti-lock brake system (ABS) module proportional to the drivers brake pedal application.
Reference voltage is supplied by circuit 3601 (WH/RD). Ground is provided through circuit 3603 (RD). The transducer current is supplied by circuit 3600 (RD/WH).
Possible Causes
^ circuit 3600 (RD/WH) open, short to voltage, or short to ground
^ circuit 3601 (WH/RD) open, short to voltage, or short to ground
^ circuit 3603 (RD) open, short to voltage, or short to ground
^ primary brake pressure transducer
^ ABS module
