Liftgate Release Handle

LIFTGATE RELEASE HANDLE

Removal and Installation
1. Remove the liftgate trim panel.
2. Position the watershield aside.
3. Disconnect the liftgate handle actuating rod.
4. Disconnect the liftgate latch actuating cable.
5. Disconnect the liftgate window latch actuating cable.
6. Disconnect the liftgate latch actuator electrical connectors.
7. Remove the 3 screws and the liftgate latch remote control.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).

8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
