REAR QUARTER WINDOW GLASS - FIXED

Removal and Installation
1. Remove the quarter trim panel.







2. NOTE: Have an assistant hold the rear quarter window glass.

Remove the rear quarter window glass.
1 Remove the nuts.
2 Push the rear quarter window glass outward to release the foam core butyl seal.







3. Remove the excess foam core butyl from the window opening.

4. NOTE: When applying foam core butyl, leave a slight overlap at the bottom to allow for drainage.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Starting at the bottom middle and working around the frame, apply an 8-mm (0.32-in) wide strip of foam core butyl meeting Ford specification WSB-M4GB45-A to the rear quarter window glass frame.
- Loosely install all the nuts before tightening.
