Oil Pump Screen and Pickup Tube

Removal
1. Remove the oil pan.





2. Remove the nut, bolts and the oil pump screen and pickup tube.





3. Remove and discard the O-ring seal.

Installation





1. install a new O-ring seal and lubricate with clean engine oil.





2. Install the oil pump screen and pickup tube.
1 Position the oil pump screen and pickup tube.
2 Install the bolts.
- 3Install the nut.
- Tighten the nut in two stages.
- Stage 1: Tighten to 5 Nm (44 in. lbs.).
- Stage 2: Tighten 45 degrees.
3. Install the oil pan.
