BODY CLOSURES

The body closures system consists of the following components:
- door checks
- front doors
- front doors latch strikers
- front door hinges
- front door opening weatherstrips
- hood
- hood hinges
- hood support rod
- hood weatherstrip
- rear doors
- rear doors latch strikers
- rear door hinges
- rear door opening weatherstrips
- liftgate
- liftgate hinges
- liftgate hydraulic lifts
- liftgate latch striker
- liftgate weatherstrip

The doors are attached to the body by two pin-type hinges and are also equipped with a door hinge check which limits the travel of the door.

The hood is attached to the body by two hood hinges and is supported when open by a hood support rod.

The liftgate is attached to the body by two liftgate hinges. The liftgate hydraulic lifts aid in opening and supporting the liftgate.
