Without Auxiliary Climate Control

REMOVAL

NOTE: Installation of a new suction accumulator is not required when repairing the A/C system except when there is physical evidence of contamination from a failed A/C compressor or damage to the suction accumulator.

1. Remove the A/C compressor.







2. Disconnect the high pressure cutoff switch electrical connector.







3. Remove the nut and disconnect the compressor manifold and tube assembly from the A/C condenser.
- Discard the O-ring seal.







4. Open the clip and detach the compressor manifold and tube assembly.







5. Remove the nut and disconnect the compressor manifold and tube assembly from the suction accumulator.
- Discard the O-ring seal.

6. Raise the vehicle.







7. Remove the nuts and the brackets.
8. Lower the vehicle.
9. Remove the compressor manifold and tube assembly.

NOTE: It may be necessary to raise and lower the vehicle multiple times to route the manifold and tube during removal and installation.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Lubricate the refrigerant system with the correct amount of clean PAG oil or equivalent.
- Install new O-rings lubricated in clean PAG oil or equivalent.

2. Evacuate, leak test and charge the refrigerant system.
