REAR SEAT BACKREST - 60/40 BENCH, SECOND ROW

Removal and Installation

NOTE: 40 percent seat shown, 60 percent seat is similar.

1. Remove the rear seat from the vehicle.







2. Remove seat backrest release lever and trim cover.
1. Remove the release lever screw and lever.
2. Remove the trim cover screw.
3. Remove the trim cover.







3. NOTE: The inboard and outboard backrest bolts are not interchangeable. The long bolt is installed on the outboard side.

Remove the outboard backrest bolt.







4. NOTE: The inboard and outboard backrest bolts are not interchangeable. The short bolt is installed on the inboard side.

Remove the inboard backrest bolt.

5. Separate the seat backrest from the lower seat frame.
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
