A-Pillar Trim Panel

REMOVAL

NOTE: Right side shown, left side similar.

1. Deactivate the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS).







2. Remove the front door opening weatherstrip down from the top of the door frame.







3. Remove the instrument panel side access panel cover.







4. Remove the right side assist handle.
- Remove the caps
- Remove the bolts







5. Remove the A-pillar passenger assist handle.







6. Remove the trim panel.
- Carefully pry the moulding loose starting at the top of the "A" pillar.
- Remove the trim panel tab from the instrument panel.







7. Remove the side air bag curtain tether from the trim panel (if equipped).

CAUTION: Vehicle may be equipped with a side air bag curtain. Verify side air bag tether location during removal and installation.

8. Remove the trim panel.

INSTALLATION







1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
