Retrieving Parameter Identification Codes

To retrieve PIDs, follow these steps:

1. Connect NGS Tester or equivalent to DLC.

2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.

3. Select the MODEL YEAR and VEHICLE.

4. Select DIAGNOSTIC DATA LINK.

5. Select ECS (Air Bag Electronic Crash Sensor (ECS) module).

6. Select PID/DATA MONITOR AND RECORD.

7. Record all PIDs which are to be retrieved and press START.

8. PIDs are continuously updated on the display.
