Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair

Removal:
1. Perform the pressure relief fuel line venting procedure. Service and Repair
2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
3. Raise and support the vehicle.

Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor:

4. Remove the fuel tank pressure sensor.
1. Disconnect the fuel tank pressure sensor electrical connector.
2. Remove the fuel tank pressure sensor.

Installation:

Note: Replace the fuel tank pressure sensor O-ring seal.

Note: Lubricate the fuel tank pressure sensor O-ring seal with 5W30 engine oil meeting Ford specification ESE-M2C153-E or equivalent prior to installation, to help seal and ease the installation.

Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Torques:

1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
