Evaporative System Service Port: Service and Repair

REMOVAL





1. Raise hood and remove air cleaner inlet tube.





2. Insert a small screwdriver into locking mechanism on the evaporative emission test port retainer (protective cap can be removed for easier access).
3. Open attaching clip and remove it from the transmission fluid level tube assembly.
4. Pull the evaporative emission test port tube loose from the clip attaching it to the transmission fluid level tube assembly.





5. Remove the inside engine cover and disconnect the evaporative emission test port tube from the vacuum connection.

INSTALLATION

To install, follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
