Horn: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.






2. Remove the horn.
1 Disconnect the horn electrical hardshell connector.
2 Remove the horn bolt.
3 Remove the horn.






INSTALLATION
1. Install the horn.
1 Position the horn. Align the tab.
2 Install the horn bolt.
3 Connect the horn electrical hardshell connector.

2. Reconnect the battery ground cable.

NOTE: When the battery has been disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the powertrain control module (PCM) relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 miles) or more to relearn the strategy.
