REMOVAL

WARNING: THE HALOGEN HEADLAMP BULB CONTAINS GAS UNDER PRESSURE. THE HEADLAMP BULB MAY SHATTER IF THE GLASS ENVELOPE IS SCRATCHED OR THE HEADLAMP BULB IS DROPPED. HANDLE THE HEADLAMP BULB CAREFULLY. GRASP THE HEADLAMP BULB ONLY BY THE PLASTIC BASE. AVOID TOUCHING THE GLASS ENVELOPE. KEEP THE HEADLAMP BULB OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. ENERGIZE THE HEADLAMP BULB ONLY WHEN INSTALLED IN THE HEADLAMP ASSEMBLY.

NOTE: The RH is shown. The LH is symmetrically opposite.







1 Pull up on the two headlamp mounting clips to release the headlamp.







2. Pull the headlamp forward.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.







4. Rotate the headlamp bulb retainer counterclockwise about one-eighth turn.
5. Carefully remove the headlamp bulb from the socket.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.

CAUTION: Bulbs No.9006 and No.9007 look similar, but are not interchangeable.
