1. Verify the vehicle owner's original concern by operating the backup lamps to duplicate the original condition.
2. Inspect to determine if one of the following electrical concerns applies:

VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

ELECTRICAL
^ Circuitry open/shorted
^ Bulb burned out
^ Blown IP fuse panel Fuse 12 (15A)
^ Damaged Digital Transmission Range (DTR) sensor

3. If the concern(s) remains after the inspection, determine the symptom(s) and proceed to the symptom chart. Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
