Oil Pump: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the crankshaft sprockets.
2. Remove the oil pan.





3. Remove the bolts and the oil pump.

INSTALLATION
1. Clean and inspect the mating surfaces.





2. Position the oil pump, and install the bolts loosely. Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown.
3. Install the oil pan.
4. Install the crankshaft sprockets.
