Cylinder Head Assembly: Description and Operation

The configuration of the valve train consists of the following:
^ Valve tappet provides automatic lash adjustment.
^ The camshaft lobe transfers up-and-down motion to the camshaft roller follower.
^ The camshafts are seated in journal bores on top of the cylinder heads.
^ Valves are arranged alternately, intake valve and exhaust valve.
