Q4 CHECK THE DIODE/RESISTOR ELEMENT

- Engage the parking brake.

Brake Level Level Switch:

- Measure the resistance between the brake fluid level switch connector pin 3 circuit 531 (DG/Y) and chassis ground.

Is the resistance 5 ohms or less?

> Yes
Replace the resistor/diode element. Repeat the system pre-check.

> No
