Four Wheel Anti-Lock Brake System (4WABS)

P1 CHECK FOR FAULT REPEATABILITY

- Key "OFF."

- Connect the New Generation STAR Tester.

- Clear all DTCs.

- Drive the vehicle at various speeds.

- Retrieve DTCs.

Was a DTC retrieved and did the ABS activate during normal stops?

> Yes
- If DTC C1184 is retrieved and the ABS did not activate during normal stops, Replace the Electronic Hydraulic Control Unit (EHCU).

- If the ABS activated on normal stops. P2

- If DTC C1222 is retrieved, inspect tires for mismatched sizes. Inspect the sensor indicators for damage. If inspections are normal, replace the EHCU and repeat the System Pre-Check. Inspection and Verification (Start Testing Here)
