Four Wheel Anti-Lock Brake System (4WABS)

B1 RED BRAKE WARNING INDICATOR PROVE-OUT

- Connect the New Generation STAR Tester.

- Clear all DTCs.

- Disconnect the New Generation STAR Tester.

- Make sure the parking brake is disengaged.

- Key "ON."

- Observe the red brake warning indicator prove-out.

Does the red brake warning indicator prove out normally?

> Yes
The concern is most likely intermittent. B2

> No
- If the indicator is illuminated continuously, the concern is repeatable. B6

- If both the red brake warning indicator and the yellow ABS warning indicator are illuminated continuously. B2

- If the red brake warning indicator never illuminates. B13
