1. Verify the customer concern by operating the power outside rearview mirrors.
2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical and electrical damage.

VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

MECHANICAL
^ Damaged mirror(s)
^ Damaged outside rear view mirror control

ELECTRICAL
^ Blown fuse
^ Damaged wiring
^ Loose, corroded, or dirty connections
^ Damaged outside rear view mirror control
