Rear

Rear Hub And Bearing Dust Cap:




Hub And Bearing Retaining Nut:






REMOVE
1. Raise vehicle on jackstands or a frame contact type hoist.
2. Remove rear wheel and tire assembly.
3. If vehicle is equipped with rear disc brakes, remove disc brake caliper from the adapter.
4. Remove the brake drum or the rotor from the hub/bearing.
5. Remove rear hub and bearing assembly dust cap.
6. Remove rear hub and bearing assembly cotter pin, nut retainer and hub/bearing retaining nut and washer. Then remove rear hub and bearing assembly from spindle.

INSTALL
1. Install rear hub and bearing assembly on rear spindle. Install hub and bearing assembly washer and retaining nut. Tighten the hub and bearing retaining nut to a torque of 168 Nm (124 ft. lbs.).
2. Install wave washer, nut retainer and cotter pin on spindle.
3. Install rear hub and bearing dust cap.
4. Install rear brake drum or rotor on hub.
5. If vehicle is equipped with rear disc brakes, install rear disc brake caliper onto the adapter. Install the caliper assembly to adapter guide pin bolts and torque to 22 Nm (17 ft. lbs.).
6. Install the wheel and tire assembly. Tighten the wheel mounting stud nuts in proper sequence until all nuts are torqued to half specification. Then repeat the tightening sequence to the full specified torque of 110 - 135 Nm (85 - 115 ft. lbs.).
